Dear friends, old contacts, and new friends,
My first poetry chapbook has been published, Green Rain,
Poets Wear Prada Press, December, 2008.
Most of the poems were written in Central Park. I often use nature as a metaphor for the human experience to deal with the poignancy of time, the joy of living. I hope you'll like "Green Rain" and find poems that make you think, tease you, or embrace you with nature.
Some new reviews:
Your observations and perceptions of life and nature are simply exquisite. I was breathless with their beauty.
The poems are stunning in their depth, humor, and mystery, which makes me want to read them over & over.
I'm blown away. I'm going to reread every syllable.
Orovan's poems are bright and polished; they dazzle the reader. She uses language that is idiosyncratic and as fresh as April. "Green Rain" bears returning to again and again.
Please order copies from freoro2@yahoo.com ($6.00).

And when you get the book, please let me know honestly what you think. I'd love feedback.
Thank you,
Mary Orovan
